Inter Milan has confirmed that forward Federico Dimarco will be out for at least two weeks with a thigh injury.
The Italian striker, who joined the club from Genoa in January, was forced off during the 1-0 Serie A victory over Torino last weekend and is expected to miss Inter's next three matches.
Dimarco had been a key player for Inter this season, scoring six goals in 22 league appearances. He has also been a regular starter for Italy's under-21 team.
Inter coach Antonio Conte said: "We're very disappointed for Federico because he's one of our best players."
"Unfortunately, it's a little unlucky because we need him now," Conte added.
"We'll have to find someone else to fill his role in the squad."
