Marseille's victory over Strasbourg on Sunday was all about Payet, who scored two goals and provided one assist in the 3-1 win.
The first goal came in the 67th minute when Payet beat his marker to head home from close range after a cross by Florian Thauvin. The second goal came in the 82nd minute when Payet finished off a great move down the left wing before slotting the ball past the goalkeeper.
In addition to his goals, Payet also assisted on the third goal as he played a one-two with Adil Rami before setting up Florian Thauvin for the final scoreline.
It was a fantastic display from Payet, who has been in fine form this season. He has already scored six goals and provided five assists in just eight games for Marseille, and he will be hoping to continue his good form against Lille next weekend.
